Clients can easily upload their disclosure documents using our secure client portal and are guided by our task list. You can provide the client with access to their Disclosure Portal in one of two ways:
- Invite your client as part of the Questionnaire process, OR
- Invite your client at a later time once disclosure is required
Invite your client as part of the Questionnaire process
When inviting your client to complete the Questionnaire, you can choose to include the Client Portal by leaving it ticked. This means that once the client submits their Questionnaire, they will move straight into their Disclosure Portal to start uploading documents. This can be done over multiple sessions.
Each time the client logs into FamilyProperty they will remain in their Disclosure Portal.
Invite your client at a later time once disclosure is required
From the dashboard, you can invite your client to upload documents via their Disclosure Portal as follows:
1. Click on Disclosure in the left-hand menu, then Invite your client:
2. Their name and email address should pre-populate, then click 'Invite'.
3. The client will receive an invitation via email. For clients that haven't accessed the Questionnaire previously and therefore haven't yet set-up a FamilyProperty login or password, they click 'Get started' and can fill out the Sign-up page. For clients that have already used FamilyProperty, they can click 'Get started' from the email but should click 'Login instead' of filling out the Sign up form. Alternatively, they can go straight to our login page - https://app.familyproperty.com.au/login.html
4. The Disclosure Portal will launch as shown below, allowing the client to navigate each item using the left-side browser and view the recommended disclosure tasks.
5. Any documents uploaded by the client, will be available almost immediately within the matter dashboard against the item it was uploaded against. For example, a document uploaded for the family home, will be shown with an attachment icon against the family home in the Balance Sheet:
Q. Can I view my client's Disclosure Portal?
