Instead of sending the Questionnaire to your clients for completion on their end, some legal professionals like to fill in the Questionnaire with (or on behalf of) their clients.
This might be the case if you meet your client in the office, or join them in a virtual meeting, or just want to capture some of their data together.
To fill in the Questionnaire on behalf of your client:
- Open your existing Lead or Matter and go to the Intake Tab.
- Double click on the form listed. Alternatively, click on the right-hand menu (three dots) and select ‘Edit Responses’
- This will launch the whole Questionnaire.
- Start filling out the information as desired. The information will auto-save. If completed in full, click Submit on the last page and continue managing the matter in the Property and Parenting tabs. Alternatively;
- Send some sections of the Questionnaire for the client to complete on their own. Continue reading to learn how.
Can my client complete the rest of the Questionnaire on their own?
Yes! At any time whilst filling in the Questionnaire, you can invite your client to FamilyProperty allowing them to finish this off in their own time.
There are two ways to do this:
1. After your changes have saved, use the 3 dots (shown in image above) and click 'Send'. Please note, this will allow the client to see the information you have entered and they can make further edits.
2. Send only the remaining sections of the questionnaire to the client. To do this:
- With the Questionnaire open, expand the left side menu and click on 'Set-up and User access':
- From there, scroll down to the 'Your Client' section and check the option to: 'Yes, invite my client to access the Questionnaire'
- Enter in your client's name and email address and then select the sections of the Questionnaire you wish to include.
Once done, scroll down to 'Save' - this will send your client an invitation email from FamilyProperty, allowing them to login to FamilyProperty and complete the Questionnaire on their end.
